Home Repair Update for this week (2/24-2/28)

Volunteers are needed again this week at the new Homeless Shelter, 580 Colbert Ave. in Oil City on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM. A wide range of opportunities include framing-in some doorways; suspended ceilings and plastic (FRP) panels; and other general carpentry. Drywall hanging is nearly done, but mudding continues. Finish work such as painting and moldings are still a few weeks away.

We also need volunteers for two county referrals (installing a 32” storm door and a 4’X4’ porch with steps and a railing), as weather was a (delaying) factor on both those jobs last week.

If you can help or have any questions, please call Ross at 724-866-4858 or stop by the shelter. Volunteers have been generous with both times and talents, so progress has been substantial. Come join the fun!

Yours in Christ,
Paul and Ross
